In 2022, we matched on bumble. Soon after matching, we discovered that Nick's uncle Danny and Sophia's brother Nathan were childhood best friends, and our families already knew each other! In fact, Nathan and Danny had already been joking about setting us up!

Our first date was hanging out, playing board games, listening to music, and getting to know each other. At first we were a bit shy and awkward together, but there was an immediate sense of comfort in each others' presence. As soon as we started hanging out, we both knew there was no reason to be on bumble anymore!

We hung out as friends first for three months. During which time, we bonded over our different interests, but the way we loved our interests in the same ways. We explored nature together, went to sports games together, experienced new adventures together, and bonded over our cultures, our families, and the way our personalities gave each other energy and confidence.

Then, on April 10th 2022, Nick surprised Sophia with a bouquet of flowers and asked her to be his girlfriend. To which Sophia replied, "where did you pull those from?" and Nick replied, "My ass!"

And the rest is history!

In the over four years we've been together, we have grown so much, both individually and together, and fostered a beautiful bond between us. We enjoy tending to our home together, taking care of our two cats Leonardo and Shadow, and going on all the same types of adventures we always have!

We are very honored and blessed that we get to celebrate our love, together with all the people who have loved us throughout our lives!
